This is a newby to the sport asking a simple and possibly provocative question. I'm not trying to stir up a hornet's nest, just looking for honest opinions and not intending to be critical of anyone's choice of trials bike. (note: I bought one!)

I seem to remember a post or two or maybe more re stator problems . ;)

It would be interesting to see how the votes would come out if this pole was in one of the other bike specific Topics or the General Topic area.

Every bike will have it's problems, some cause more posts than others on these forums.

You can't count the number of posts about the leaking carb, but it's not a massive problem to live with or cure. There are also a lot of posts about stators, but generally speaking, these have been cured on newer bikes.

Take away these two issues, and you won't find too many problems with Beta's.
