348 Colours Yellow/red

Featured Replies

hi, can anyone tell me if the 348 came painted yellow as standard? my youngest lad fetched my broken 348 (flywheel sheared off many years ago!!) out of the shed yesterday stating " i need a project, dad", now when i bought it years ago it was yellow but i decided to spruce it up with a nice new shiny red coat of paint, picking that colour purely because all the ones i have seen in the past were red, so i thought if we are going to revive it we may as well paint it the right colour, if indeed yellow is the right colour. I have a load of engine parts i bought off fleabay a few years ago in readiness for the big day, but would be grateful of any advice/things to look out for etc, many thanks steve.

No. Any colour as long as it's red.

red it is then,eh..... still got some in the garage if it's not gone all rubbery by now!

Hey Crasher

Go to the following site, southwestmontesa.com, and have a look at their model gallery. You will see what your 348 should look like. I have a 348 which was painted black when I bought it but red is the way to go.
