anotherfive Posted February 14, 2009 Report Share Posted February 14, 2009 I dont think theres room to remove the slide without the carb off. Just do it and clean at the same time.Undo the cable at the bars and either tie string to the nipple or fix new cable to the old and pull through. As said abbove, you will have trouble getting the slide off without removing the carb, so you may as well take it off and give it a good clean.
