February 15, 200917 yr Hi Has anyone ever tried to calm down the power delivery of an '08Beta 270 with any sucess? Mine's still got the flywheel weight fitted, and a slow action throttle tube, but i sill find it a real handful most of the time. Are heavier flywheel weights etc avaliable? Ta
February 15, 200917 yr All you need to do is turn the ignition back a touch and it'll be superb, mine is!!
February 15, 200917 yr Yeah, Slow action throttle, Slightly smaller rear sprocket, Retard the timing, Double head gasket. Just try those for now, do them in that order too one by one till your power is coming as you like it, I personally reckon the sprocket makes the biggest difference, doesnt mean fiddling with the fiddly bits You still have the same power, same delivery but just not as torquey!
