Bike Kicking Back

Featured Replies

I took delivery of an 07 280TXT Pro yesterday. Problem is despite being difficult to start ,every 3rd kick or so it kicks back ala XR 500. I know that the selector gear was replaced recently.

Has anyone had a similar experience, is this usual???

Get it on compression, bring the kick start back to its start position then give it a good firm kick. You're being too gentle with it.

Ita all about technique, don't touch it up kick it as if your life depends on it. Lift your left leg off the floor and put all your weight on the kick starter in one smooth action.
