pat64 Posted February 21, 2009 Report Share Posted February 21, 2009 Hello all Iam trying to identify my ty250 mono ,I was told by the seller it was a1989 model but according to the numbers its not ,the engine no is 38V-010***is a 1986 2AF European model and frame no is 4AJ-0020** is a 1991 Japanese Model,can anyone confirm these numbers I can't find much in the way of info on the web,I know its quite easy to build a bike from different parts but just in case I have the wrong info I'am asking on here. cheers.. hughesy Posted February 23, 2009 Report Share Posted February 23, 2009 From what I can recall 38V is early type R and 4AJ is a pinky type R, the other one I remember is that a 59N is an S. Although this is off the top my head so I may stand corrected! I seem to remember almost buying a mono from Aberfeldy a few years ago and the engine and frame no's didn't match, I left it where it was!
