al the spanner told me to use this, which he is a gas gas team mechanic, yeh will try some clutch oil :D

the 80w is the one i have been recomemnded ive tryed the 75w but the 80w i find cures the clutch drag

why not just use the real thing gearbox oil is designed to be used in a gearbox i doubt you will ge anything better than the real thing

I recently started using Mobil 1 Synthetic 5-30 in my Rev 3 and so far I'm very pleased with it.

im going to try the 80w why does thay stop your clucth dragging? :D

  • 4 weeks later...

It cures clutch drag mainly because of it's thinner. Plates dont stick together. I've heard rumors of fibreplate swelling when using synthetic oils, but im not sure on that one. Im running ELF HTX 740 gearbox oil in my mont and rev3. It's thinner than hydraulic oil, even at room temperature. Costs quite abit, but runs _really_ nice..
