October 29, 200421 yr is it just a case of topping it up till, it comes out of the hole? and which oil should i use, my mate recomends diesel oil, is it any good? im using shell helix ultra at the mo.
October 29, 200421 yr well get that ***** out know that aint even gearbox oil it's 4 stroke engine oil. you need proper gearbox oil i was recomened pj1 light clutch tunner by BVM moto and people i know with beta's it has basicly got rid of my dragging clutch and you will need 550ml of oil on there or youl get it spraying out of the breather. hope this helps you here is the link for the oil http://www.bvm-moto.co.uk/oilsetc.htm#pj1 BB

October 29, 200421 yr the 80w is the one i have been recomemnded ive tryed the 75w but the 80w i find cures the clutch drag
October 29, 200421 yr why not just use the real thing gearbox oil is designed to be used in a gearbox i doubt you will ge anything better than the real thing

November 22, 200421 yr It cures clutch drag mainly because of it's thinner. Plates dont stick together. I've heard rumors of fibreplate swelling when using synthetic oils, but im not sure on that one. Im running ELF HTX 740 gearbox oil in my mont and rev3. It's thinner than hydraulic oil, even at room temperature. Costs quite abit, but runs _really_ nice.. Br, Robin
