does anybody out there know if the crank seals can be changed with yhe engine left in the frame?the bike is a 73 ossa explorer/mar 250

    Crank Seals?

    You Should be able to but not easily. You can often extract the old ones by driving a couple of self tappers into the face of the seal and pull it out.

    Fitting a new one will need some care, and preferably using a tool made from some suitably sized tubing to drive it in.
