I have recently bought a trials bike after a 2 year break. What do you lot think about neoprene fork protectors? I hardly see any trials bikes with them on, but they seem like such a good idea.

I'm about to fit some BOR sleeves to my sons little GasGas as he does tend to drop it quite a lot and the sleeves may save the forks from doom! I've never bothered with any of my own bikes, but I cant see any negatives.

I can only recommend them

I've fitted them to every bike I've had in the last 9 years and in that time have never had to replace a fork seal.

I don't think they offer any real protection against bumps and knocks as they are just thin neoprene but they do stop you pressure washing dirt down into the fork seals.

Had the BOR ones on my Beta the past 18 months , lifted one recently and found fork leg as good as new underneath , Stitching a little fragile (had to re-sew one) but apart from that would recommend them anyday. Look cool as well.
