March 30, 200917 yr Just curious why Honda is not bringing the Monty into US anymore? Here in US, Honda is known for building exceptionally reliable products. But from some of the pricing I saw on another thread, converted to US $$$ makes the Montesa a very pricey bike. Are they that good to get that much more money than GG or Sherco?
March 30, 200917 yr This ahs been covered before but the short and sweet is Honda hasn't decided where to sell the bikes, in their Honda Superstores or in the traditional dealer network. You can buy bikes from Canada as we have an Importer and given your dollar strength, should be very well priced. Parts are probably still available from Lewisports. Spencer
March 30, 200917 yr Cost /price / value what ever you want to call it must be the root cause. the bikes are undoubtedly great, very relaible. the one Bou rides is certainly ridden by the best trials rider in the best form in the world. i suspect that if they were not collecting world championships there works effort and then the business itself may fold. they must make a loss on every bike. trials is a niche market in a niche (offroad) market which itself is a niche market in the motorcycle market which is then a niche in the motor vehicle market. bike manufacture will continue but prices will rise to an economic level.
March 31, 200917 yr who is the Canadian importer ? The Canadian Importer in Cascade Motorsports in British Columbia, go to trialscanada.com where you will find the link. Spencer
