April 3, 200917 yr Does anyone out there know if Boysen makes a dual stage reed for the 250R. Boysen's site doesn't list one...but surly one of the hundreds they make fits. Any help?

April 3, 200917 yr Author Thanks for the help....its a bone stock 07 model. I have always had great luck with the boysens...sharpening up the low end. So I just thought that I'd install the them the next time I had the bike tore down. What are/is a yammy stopper? Thanks.
April 4, 200917 yr I do not know of a Boysen that will fit (doesn't mean there isn't one, but I cannot find one!). Pogipollini do have a carbon one that fits. The Yamaha reed stoppers from late model TYZ work well in conjunction with the standard reeds. They stop the reeds from "fluttering" at high revs.
April 5, 200917 yr Author When I get some time...i'm gonna take it out and trace it....Lewissport said they should be able to find one that fits. If so, i'll post the part number. Thanks again.
