Yesterday i purchased a Montesa 200 but the engine appears to be a lot bigger than a 200,is there any way to identify the engine size?

How do i set up the carb for correct running?

I will attempt to post some pictures tonight for your perusal as the bike is in very good condition for a 25 year old trials bike

The two numbers in front of the engine number will tell you the model eg 21m123456 is a 247cc engine. The cota 200 was a 173cc engine but i cant remember the model number

Dave is correct. Engine size is 173cc. Engine numbers started with 29M.
