April 22, 200917 yr whip it off, hose it down, apply chain cleaner, wipe clean, let it dry, apply chain cleaner, wipe it clean . clean sprokets/ guides, refit , lubricate.
April 22, 200917 yr apply traffic film remover neat to the chain ( and all hard to clean areas) wash off after a few minute's, let it drip dry for a while, then blather in wd40 or some other brand of water repelent spray. i normally do this with the rear wheel off the floor and spray into the chain tensioner as the chain passes through it. works for me.
April 22, 200917 yr what i find works is getting the pressure washer on it. then start up the bike and ride it to get rid of the water off the chain. straight up the shed and lube up the chain.
