Trials Bike In A Saxo?

Featured Replies

Im looking at getting a bike from yorkshire somewhere but I no longer have a van, just a saxo hatchback. I was wondering if with the passanger seat and back seats completely out, would a bike fit in with the front wheel off? Theres no way I can pick one up.getting one from a shop delievered to me up here in cumbria bumps up the price too much as the bikes are a little more to start with from traders..so I was looking at going myself to buy private not knowking anything about the bikes really....so risky........

suggestions please

Seem to remember Colley sticking his Gas Gas in the back of his Williams Clio to go and do a European Indoor round.

You can get a GasGas in a Honda Civic..... have to take a few bits off though :D

I know a rider, in a world round Nigran, Spain get a lift back to the paddock some 15km away, due to a flat, with the bike hanging out of the back of a fiat panda.

take the front wheel off and it will slide in easy with the back seats down mate

Looks like it 'll go in,but you should take someone with you who knows what to look for even if you have to pay a train fare back for them.Cheaper than buying a duff one

Hi

I managed to get a fantic 307 in a Peugeot 206 no problem. Take the front wheel and forks out as one unit. The back wheel and mudguard off and put the chain in a plastic bag to keep the inside of the car clean.

It will then all fit in the back. No need to remove the front seat.

Take off the wheels, rear mudgaurd and drop the handlebars off the yoke and it should sit in on it's sump nicely!!! i had to pick up a sherco 290 in a mazda 626 like this a few years back!!
