Hello. My son, aged 7, has a slight interest in trialing. Can anyone recomend somewehere we can go to see juniors trialing?

We are in Derbyshire, near Matlock.

Bonsall Quarry have a few, as do Mansfield Maun, I dont have the info on the places at hand, but Im sure someone will be able to help.

Im also in Derbyshire (in Heanor), you dont have a son called Ben Savage at all do you?

You could try North Derbyshire youth there a bit more Buxton way but still not to far and manchester 17 run trials in that area as well.

Have a look at www.ndymcc.co.uk the North Derbyshire Youth website.It's a great starting place for young beginners.

The Man 17 trial at Whaley Bridge on boxing day is always good for a laugh very muddy and slippery lots of falling off, its a joint adult and youth trial. Will get you away from the in-laws as well.

the best place to go see the best youths in the country perform is at the Y.M.S.A club which is actually run around matlock. infact i have just got home from their last trial of the year which was held at braken rocks (holloway). check out the dates for next year and all of the results and pictures to wet his appetite for next year. hope to see you around.
