June 2, 200917 yr Like it says in the title are Ohlins rear shocks worth the cost? What adjustment is on them? Anybody got any experience of riding with them on? Over to you.............
June 2, 200917 yr We have an ohlins on our 09 Gas Gas 125, and previously on a Sherco 125. For us it is worth it as we can get various springs to suit the correct weight of the rider as he grows. They appear to be more progressive and easy to set definitely better than the Sherco Olle but cannot comment on the Sachs as we have never used it. They seem to wear very well and are fully rebuildable and so far 2 years down the line we have no complaints they can also be altered for a cost to fit different bikes.

June 3, 200917 yr NYL's has had one fitted to his Gas Gas 125's since 2006. Having used the Sachs while the Ohlins was being rebuilt his conclusion is that the Ohlins is more progressive and gives better feedback than the Sachs. The Sachs feels "clunky" compared to the Ohlins.
