June 3, 200917 yr Hey folks! Im having a bit of troule with my clutch, the other day when i was out my clutch started to slip in 3 going up a steep rocky hill, I cam home a took the clutch plates out for inspection, all was fine so i rebuilt bike with fresh oil and took it for a spin! It had stopped slipping but is now rattling and dragging slightly Also after only a few hours riding the oil is pretty black compared to normal, One last thing, Does anyone in gloucestershire have a spare clutch spring? lost it in the garage some where rggghh!!!! Any help please?
June 3, 200917 yr I wouldn't worry about the spring. I took two out of mine to lighten the action and there was no problem with slippage but it is a 200.

Do you reckon it will be ok with a spring missing then? the clutch plate does move slightly uneven now, If i can i will get one from bvm tomo but im not sure they will have one in stock!
June 4, 200917 yr Author Ive read alot about automatic transmission fluid instead of normal oil, would this be a good idea? is there a certain type i need?
