Hi there folks. I hope somebody out there can help me. I have just bought a montesa cota ( to keep up with the kids between sections not to trial!!) not sure what model think a 314?? how can I identify the bike and age it? The number on the plate between the forks is 000640. Also does anyone know who stocks spares?

Mate if you really want to know what Monty you have there, you will need to do a bit better describing it or post a photo somewhere so we can see it

Need a few more numbers to identify the year, the last 8 will do it

The full number on the side of the forks is; VTDNT03900E000640. Cant take photo at the moment, but the tank is purple, thats why I think it is a 314. Thanks also for checking my spelling I will try and figure out how to change it.

thats very close to my bikes frame number and its a 1995 montesa 314 ,very solid bike fires first kick every time. john

i have seen bits on ebay ,but sandifords in burnley can get most things. they have a website and do mail order. john
