1997 Beta Techno

I am curious to know of the quality of a 97 250 techno. There is a very fresh looking techno for sale and i am considering making an offer of $1700. he is asking $2100. Are these good bikes or were the problematic with poor handling?

I think they are a good sturdy beater, but for that much dosh, you should be able to buy a later, lighter performer such as a TXT gasser or Sherco in this decade.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and even a newer Mont(01-02) would compare in weight. :P
