Having watched a few generations of riders over the years, I won't be going out on a limb in saying, Dougie Lampkin is the toughest competitor, ever. From across the pond, I wouldn't put it past him to post his 100 victory this weekend. Ok, that's going out on a limb. Still, hat's off to the toughest SOB to ever strap on a helmet. Get well, quickly.

It sounds like he used every last bit of energy to pass Jarvis(or keep him behind him depending on what article you read) but just wore himself out. Man what a competitor...I hope he's ok...sounds like he will be.
