June 27, 200917 yr Why we (Beta owners) don't have something like Gasers does on U Tube? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjoj7n74G0s...feature=related It is very well explained.. Samo Edited June 27, 200917 yr by samo
June 27, 200917 yr Gas Gas are very good at this side, ive had alot of help from GGUK and even if a better bike comes out, im sticking with them for the service. Tom
June 27, 200917 yr The Beta's did not blow up, therefore not neccessary. wish this was true! I had a 2006 beta (first trials bike) and i had tonnes and tonnes of problems with it and got so fed up in the end I bought a new gasser. most of the time I think its just down to luck, I was unlucky enough to get a bad one. Tom
June 28, 200917 yr There were lots of issues when the PRO gassers first came out. Mostly sorted now, but many were in a spin at the time. Still unconventional by most all comparisons, yet cutting edge on weight for sure. The simple truth in engineering IS "You never know how light you can build something untill it breaks!" Most bikes have their quirks, and if you know the bikes the problems and bad luck can be minimized. Rlracer recently did a maintenance video in the US on the Betas. Not quite sure what all is in it of is it is just being sent out with new bikes. Maybe he can update when he gets back from TN! Or maybe someone will put his mug on you-tube! He knows his stuff. June 30, 200917 yr Tombo, recon you must have bought my 06 mate problem after problem, the Gasser vids are really good and I used the clutch video clips only last week on a mates bike.
