Beta Tyre Rubbing The Shock

Featured Replies

The tyre (x11) on my 08 4t has been rubbing the shock a little, i have tried a chain with an extra link but its way to slack i tried a half link and i have made the rear more stiff, has anyone had this problem before? The chain is not that old so i asume it will streach a little but i realy dont want to damage the shock.

My 07 2 stroke did this. Couldn't stop it, so I let it get on with it in the end. Doesn't do it anymore. Only got 1/2 a shock left now though.

DON"T let it rub the shock..... there is approx 250psi in the shock and it needs the alloy body to keep it in!

Put the extra half a link in until you chain stretches. I never noticed that it made my suspension stiffer and actually it should make it softer with the longer leaverage ratio.
