Hi all got my second childhood and another trials 92 260 synt been stood a while done lots of servicing changed oils sorted clutch etc...............when removing the bolt next to the sump plug the one with the spring and the ball bearing in when refitting i put a blob of grease to hold in place upon retightening i have difficulty selecting gears can anyone confirm if this should have a washer fitted and should i be re-fitted in a certain gear .....because it never had a washer but when i fit one i can select gears better but not great

by the way the bikes been stood a couple of years needed welding foot pegs gear pedal kickstart etc put fresh fluids ......started the very first kick

....how chuffed was i

any info would be greatly appreciated
