amiller Posted November 27, 2004 Report Share Posted November 27, 2004 We picked up 10 from the Comos on Tuesday for the Bottle Run Xtreme open house. We put a 270 together for a demo bike and by the end of the day it had 4 tanks of gas run through it. No complaints except the front brake needs some air bled out and the slow throttle needs to be replaced with a fast one. Thats not to bad considering we only had time to put the bars on and check fluids before people started riding it. Have not even adjusted the floats. Nice bike.... The brakes were a little spongy, but came around with a little bleeding and wearing in. Finally got to put it through its paces Sunday. After some initial stiffness, the bike performed flawlessly. The traction this bike lays down is amazing. The clutch is nice and smooth, and the bottom end is smoother than the '04 was. The footpegs are wider now, giving a more stable platform.
