Warm Doesn't Start

Featured Replies

My rev 3 270ccm starts when it's cold first kick but when I turn off the motor and try to start it after 5min. it doesn't want to start. It starts only with fully opened trottle.

When I turn off the engine and than start it at once, it starts fine..It doesn't want to start only when I wait 5-10 minutes.??

What could be the problem?

There's no problem. Just get in the habit of turning the fuel off when you park the bike and remember to turn it on again after you've restarted it. Avoid parking the bike facing downhill too.

Gday, it is too rich. I'd remove, clean and check the carb, particularly the float level. Check the air filter also -is it clean and re-oiled lightly?

Cheers,

I made mods. on the carburator ( float level, drilling..) and when I look the spark plug it is not black as before, so I think it is not too rich.

The petrol doesn't leak through the atmospheric pipes anymore..maybe is float level too low?
