August 29, 200916 yr can anyone tell me if the dog bone bearings in the rear linkage from on 08 gas gas is the same as an 08 sherco? recently tried to fit some and made a complete hash of it, the seals wouldnt go in properly and it just went downhill from there. I know a guy who sells dog bone bearings for sherco's who lives nearby so I need to know if they will fit in my bike! also, any tips for fitting them would be great! I was using a 15mm socket to push them in, I also heated up the dog bones and put the bearings and seals in the freezer. thanks in advance! Tom
August 29, 200916 yr Use an engineers bench vice . The vice pushes them in square and makes the job easier ! Phil
August 31, 200916 yr Did you put seals the right way round Tom ???? The rubber needs to face out.. Can't help with the Sherco seals, but the gas gas seals from BVM are dirt cheap.
