December 1, 200421 yr what is the approx air screw setting for 03 250 pro just rebuilt the carb and forgot to check before taking the screw out , can fine adjust once on bike ,also plug gap ? and do you use high or low modulus silicon to seat air box to seat unit ???? or am i just been anal

December 1, 200421 yr Airscrew is actually a fuel screw and setting is 2.5 to 3.25 turns out. As you say fine tune when engine is running and fully warm.
December 2, 200421 yr Take a pencil and paper with you when your next out on the bike start at 1 turn out and go up from there noting down how many turns the screw is out each time until it runs right. You'll notice when it is set correctly cos the bike will just feel bang on all of a sudden. Thats how it works for me ! My 200 pros was supposed to be 2.5 turns out but it runs better at 1.75 to 2 turns ! Anything above this and it just dunt run right.
