After a whopping 10 mins out on the bike I noticed a leak, coming from the hole in the crank-case below the water pump........bugger.....

I have found a viton oil seal on a bearing web site that is the correct size, but the seal I removed was just a rubber scraper seal.

Will the viton seal work, or is there a reason for it not having this as standard - will it wear the shaft.

Please help.
