September 18, 200916 yr Hi. I have to change piston. It has marks on and cilinder is also in bad shape. Could someone tell me which piston I have? On top is written 03-20, 7595. Is it second or third one? If it is third one then I must change cilinder. Am I right, or is there one biger then third? Samo Edited September 18, 200916 yr by samo
September 18, 200916 yr There are 2 grades of piston there should be A or B stamped on it! this is stamped on when manufactured depending on early or late production! as for cyl it will after be replated and bored to the size of piston! was told all this by lampkins when i got a old techno piston and cyl replated!
September 19, 200916 yr Author I can not find letter A or B on Piston. What would measurements for B Piston be?
September 19, 200916 yr Author Another question: I got a good offer from my supplyer for 250ccm Cyl with Piston. Now I have 270. Question is can I put in 270 engine 250 Cylinder without changing anything?
September 26, 200916 yr Author My bike is running again I put 250 Cylinder on and didn't have to change anything. Cylinder i got has a B Piston and was pretty black on top. Dealer who sell me this assure that this is a new Cylinder with Piston running just an hour.. Is it possibile that you can get B Piston in new Cylinder?
