hi ,i have just got hold of a side stand for my sy250,as it never had one fitted when i bought the bike.when i came to fit said stand only two of the three holes line up.i can drill a third hole in the swing arm,so it will take the stand,but was wondering if they have had different side stands through out the years,and also is drilling the extra hole the way to go..thanls for any advice ,tom

The stands were upraterd on the 07 bikes, if i remeber pre 07 bike had a smaller hole on the alloy gusset, the swingarms are the same so i cant see a problem drilling it out a couple of mm's.

drilled the hole ,,,,fitted the stand,,,spot on ,,thanks for the info ,tom
