315 No Spark - Help!

Featured Replies

Hello CHaps,

I have '99 315r and it has been brilliant for almost 2 years since i bought it. But today i got to the trial and she no go! I checked the spark plug and it was a bit gruby and no spark, so i put a brand new one in and still no spark. That is where my mechanical /electrical knowledge ran out and the old man is old school so doesn't really have any ideas either. (he can build beautiful old bike from the ground up though!)

any thoughts?? As much as i enjoyed observing today, it's much more fun falling off myself than watching others!

Dan

My 97 315 lost its sparks a few months ago we traced the fault to a wire worn through by the fan , hope yours is as easy to put right !
