Riding A Bike Out Of Class

Featured Replies

What is the position on riding a bike out of class? I have seen a few riders that are C class riding 125cc bikes in trials when they should be on an 80 until the end of the year - is this generally accepted as I am thinking of getting my new bike now rather than wait if It is accepted by clubs as ok to ride them in trials.

Riding an over allowed capacity bike voids the ACU insurance. Clubs should not allow it.

Thats what I thought, we have a 125 but are still riding our 80cc in trials - I have seen riders who shouldn't be riding the 125 yet in trials, doing so - it is difficult to monitor as they trust the bike you are stating you are riding is the one you get out of your van

Has anyone ever been stopped from riding though?
