Hi, i have an 08 gasser and was wondering if anyone can tell me what previous models rear wheels will fit my bike. i.e will a 2000 model wheel fit my 2008 bike?

You need a Pro wheel from 2002 on. Both disc and sprocket attached by four bolts.

Cheers dave, was offered a 2000 gasser wheel for direct swap with my old beta one last night. Wont be taking him up on it now i know that Just went out and tryed my old 99 gasser rear wheel as well to see what difference there is and the brake disc is about 5mm too near the swingarm when offered up to the new gasser. Must be due to the brake caliper being behind the swingarm instead of on top of it. Atleast i know now which years will fit. You riding rhyader next weekend?

They kept changing the hubs and disc sizes in the late 90's. Your 99 wheel might be of interest to a Pampera owner, if you wanted to part with it. Haven't made plans for the weekend yet. Is Stu' going?

He's not sure yet. Im def going though. Really enjoying the bike at the moment. Much better in the wet than i thought it would be. Loads of grip and the front end is much better than the beta
