Mont 4rt Rear Wheel

Featured Replies

Can any new 4RT owners tell me if the 04 315 rear wheel fits the new stroker? I appreciate it's the new AJP hub on the 4RT but just want to know whether to sell my spare wheel with my "old" Mont or whether it'll fit in the new 'un.

Thanks in advance. :D

Hughesy, are we likely to see you on the thumper at the Dunfermline Club trial at Torrie estate (on the Torryburn bypass) on (usually) the 2nd Jan?.

I'm crocked with a torn cruciate ligament at the minute, waiting for an op but hope to do more local, ie dunfermline trials this year craig. Still hoping (in vain) that I'll be fit for the SSDT though. :D Looking at getting the new 4RT as an incentive to speed up the rehab

YES...the 04 315 rear wheel fits the new stroker. It's a bit heavier but no problem. So don't sell your rear wheel.

Sounds like the rear wheel and me have more in common than I thought! :D

Thanks for the info trialero13.

Hi All

On the topic of intergchangable rear wheels?????

A friend of mine is looking at picking up a 4RT if any ever get to the land of Oz. Will the spare rear he uses on a 03 280 Gas Gas fit the 4rt?????

The same wheel fits my Sherco.

Downunder

Turning Mountains into Mole hills (or was that the otherway around????)

Still hoping (in vain) that I'll be fit for the SSDT though.

Give it a go mate, Gary Mac did his best last year with a knacked wrist.... But he had to pull out midway through. :D

yep it fits, runnin my 2004 spare in the 4rt. The hub is the same from the pro, not sure if it fits tho.

Our friend Ishy had a COTA 315 rear wheel on his Sherco 2.9 and said it "slipped right in". Much better rim design with no leaky rim band/spoke holes.
