November 21, 200916 yr Hey there all, I have a beta 2009 bike, and the suspension is odd. I mean, it's lovely, nice and springy and good for hopping etc, but there's not a lot of damping at all. I have wound the ring up to harden it a bit but otherwise it rides too low. The damping screw is set to fully hard but still no real damping when hitting rocks etc. Does anyone have any help? November 21, 200916 yr Give Steve Saunders a call - he can supply you with a stronger spring - they make a big difference
November 21, 200916 yr The screw on the shock is for rebound adjustment. In the cd manual it says it adjusts compression. I had to have a firmer set of springs made for my weight of 250 lb's.
