January 16, 201016 yr Hi i am currently trying to get some life out of my bike anyone got any info diagrams pictures etc showing the stator plate for the above bike. Need to know which winding serves the ignition etc.
January 21, 201016 yr Hi mate There are a couple of smart arses on this forum but don't worry they are really all good people. I have a couple of stators down in my shed and will let you know soon. From memory the Cota stators did not change much during the 70's. Will give you an answer in the next couple of days. See ya
January 21, 201016 yr Author Hi thanks for the reply. Found time on thursday to go see an old bike guru. It wasnt long before he noticed the points were wired straight to earth. dont know how or why as it was over a year since i took the bike apart and it was sparking back then. The electrics are now back together and its sparking like a good en. Thanks again
