Hi, I have just got myself a beta rev3 200cc 1998 and it was in bits, i have now put it back together and now i need to put the transmission oil in. Can anyone tell me which transmission is best to use also how much to put in, as i am new to trials bikes and i dont have a manual. Can anyone help? Thanks........

I think the first rev3's were 2000/2001 ish, stick a pic up of the beast and we'll see what it actually is?

If it's a 1998 bike, it's a techno, but if it's a 2000- Onwards it's a Rev3, got any pics of it?

Hi, i don't have a camera yet, but i have just been intouch with the bloke who i got it of and he now says it is a ( BETA TECHNO ) does this make any sence? if so can you or anyone tell me how much transmission oil to put in? Sorry if i sound a bit thick but i'm new to bike's. Many Thanks........

Never had a Techno but I know the Revs like Dexron111 ATF in them, cheap as well but change it regular. There are plenty of Beta experts on here so won't be long till someone tells you chap, good luck with the bike and the sport, its great fun

Techno's were yellow in 1994, blue in 1995 (upside down forks), grey and orange in 1996, purple in 1997, black in 1998 and red in 1999. The first Rev3's cme out late in 1999 and were fitted with upside down forks.

I have a rev 3 200cc it holds 550cc of oil from the owners manual

I use putoline light gear oil 75w think it's the same engine as a techno?

If it is it should have a sight glass on the side casing to check the level
