This can happen if your rear spring needs a bit of winding on the adjusters as well. Keep the rear sag(weight of bike) down to 20-30mm range at most.
April 20, 201016 yr There is a good alloy stand for little money, take an old pair of handle bars and hold them against your side stand, at one point you can match the same shape as the stand, cut off the rest, and weld the top off your old broken stand to the bars, also the foot, did it on the Pentax honda, looks real trick.
