Ive got an ignition problem with a 280 06 pro, theres no spark, theres a live from the stator to the voltage reg(yellow wire) and from the voltage reg(yelow wire) to the cdi, and all the earths are good, but i carnt get a live at the lead! a new cdi is

    are you sure the thin bl/white wire from the cdi is good as they are made short and easily break off.

    It may be worth changing out the regulator first. I've had two of these fail in the past on a 2004 and 2006 pro. Both times I appeared to be getting an output but obvioulsy not enough under load.
