Ive got an 06 gasgas with a silver ohlins shocker, which was on the bike from new, and ive got an 09 gasgas with a sachs shock, is it worth switching the ohlins to the 09 before i sell the 06? or is the newer sachs just as good.....?

The new Sachs shocks are very good. If you had freshly rebuilt Ohlins Gold, then I would switch them, but not the silver that was built to a price point.

The Ohlins can be serviced and all parts are available. Unless they've changed them the Sachs is not. IMO the Ohlins works better too. Your choice!

thanks for the advice, still un decided, ill have to test ride them both!

Sachs can be rebuilt - needs a specialist though.
