May 25, 201016 yr ran my 99 techno in a trial saturday verry hot and half way through there is a wuring from the clutch when you have the lever out i used atf for the trial for the first time could this have done anything regards mick
May 25, 201016 yr Beta engines do develop a characteristic whine some more than others it would seem.If its not too excessive and youv'e got oil in there it's probably just that.Change of oil could have contributed.Maybe.
May 26, 201016 yr ATF is quite thin so I can see a bit more whine in really hot weather. Of course if you're really worried then.... do I have to say it.

May 29, 201016 yr My lads rev 80 developed a whurring whining noise from the clutch along with a shrill type squealing sound that got worse under load or higher revs, taking the clutch casing off I found small metal filings at the bottom of the casing, it turned out to be the clutch/gear drive cogs were worn so I replaced them, problem solved. this may not be the problem with yours but worth checking maybe.
