Hi all,

I'm going to look at a 2004 250 pro tomorrow evening. Is there anything in particular I should look out for on these bikes? Any known issues with them?

Thanks,

John

Well the gearbox was full of water, but I couldn't resist and bought it anyway!

Fingers crossed a new waterpump seal will sort it...

What's the best way to flush all the milky cr&p out? Is it just of matter of changing the oil a few times, or is there a better way?

Buy the seal, the shaft and bearing. Its about 99% certain that the shaft will be worn and you'll just waste your money with the seal.

Been there... done it

I've just finished taking it apart and the shaft and bearing are indeed buggered!

Thanks for the offer, I'll give you a shout if I get stuck
