I have come to the conclusion I need new boots, my old mx boots are falling apart and is just another excuse for my crap scores, so I need to invest.

    I love my Gaernes, very comfy but a bit over budget perhaps? The new Askew boots seem good value at the moment, somebody must have tried them by now? My son had some Formas a few years back that he said were good and the Forma Boulders are bang on your budget just now?

    I would imagine they'll all feel great after you've been using MX boots though...........try some on before you buy if you can as the sizes differ between brands.
