June 8, 201016 yr please tell me where i should stick the inline fuel filter i bought for my 4rt? should it go between the fuel tank and the injector?
June 8, 201016 yr Yes. I'd normally put one just after the fuel tap. The 4RT does not have a fuel tap!! From the tank the fuel goes through the fuel pump which is fitted underneath the fuel tank. This has a very fine filter system on it as the pump can soon damage if any c**p gets in there so the fuel leaving the pump to go to the ECU is very clean Hence there is no reason to put an in-line filter on the 4RT, just make sure it is clean going in the top of the fuel tank.
