After receiving my 02 Beta Rev 3 I am very pleased with the bike. I am getting quite a few recommendations on how to set the bike up and what areas to change or set.

Trying to follow this guide but I'm struggling. How do I set up the tangs? The guide doesn't say, do I have to bend them?

Yep just bend the little center tab be carefull mind

Must admit it took me ages too figure that bit out was looking for and adjustment somewere, but give that little tab a tweak and you`ll be away

Boofont, dont bend the tangs, bend the small centre tab only, make sure you get it bent nice and straight.

I had Steve Saunders do the drilling mod as well, bike is cured now, also tapped the atmosphere pipe towards the barrel a little so the pipe does nt get bent and closed when its near the exhaust. The extra float bowl mod is also usefull, should stop pinking up the hills

Its an extension for the float bowl, looks like a big red nut on the bottom of the carb, also comes with a main jet shroud. Think they are about

Heath has the BillyT mod somewhere on his website at http://www.r2wtrials.com I once sent him some photo's of the carb mid-mod so to speak. Have a look and see if you can find them before you start bending bits of metal.

Here's a pic of the carb that I found a while back. Sorry I can't give credit to who's pic it is. This helped me understand the words on Billy's set up.

Well I've done the mod and noticed two things. Firstly, the bike seems much sharper? Secondly, it still leaks fue, although not as bad. Now it just seems to leak small amount and then stop.
