mark1984 Posted July 10, 2010 Share Posted July 10, 2010 hi everybody i have a Noise from my top end on my montesa 4rt 2006 i have ruled out the tappets as its a tapping sound what ealse could it be there is a little movement in the cam shaft? stork955 Posted July 10, 2010 Share Posted July 10, 2010 Gday, how is the cam chain? You shouldnt be able to lift it off the sprocket. Also, that motor in the CRF does have gudgeon issues. They are meant to be replaced every 15 hours or something like that if I remember correctly. Have a look into these areas. Cheers, Stork.
