hey guys ,please help me,its doing my head in haha,i have a beta rev 3 o4 model, when i rev it or put the engine under labour,it back fires and splutters, until i rev it high,and it clears it out, sort of, ive striped the carb down to nothing and it is still doing it, ive been on the forums and got good advice how to clean the carb properly,and would probably say,that ive done it right,but you never know, i hav,nt changed the spark pug,and ht lead so thats my next job,has anybody got any idea,s, could it be the timing thats moved or something?

I'm not a beta man but i've heard of a few people having problems with the key snapping if the flywheel nut is not done up really tight.

First thing I would do is have the flywjheel off and check the stator. If there is any prblems with the stator I wouild suggest Motoplat to get it rewound.
