I picked up some Castrol TQ D oil and would like to know the amount required to replace the gear oil on my 05 280 pro

I put in 340cc and then run it and let it settle,

Check the level in the window it should be half way. Might need to add a spot more but shouldn't need more than 350cc in total

You mention cc in your reply, I guess this is the same as ml's?

I recently got the bike and while I recover from an injury ( non bike related) I hope to get on top of a few things that need doing.

Yes you're correct ml's are exactly the same as cc.

I just about managed to get a 3rd oil change from a 1ltr bottle, so you mustn't spill any!
