is it possible to take the crack off the exhaust note? im trying to be as discreet as possible where i ride especially because of all the trouble with noise pollution :wall: has anyone else found the std bars to small (im 6 foot tall) and if so what size have you replaced them with? and last but not least how do you stop water getting into the air box through the flap at the bottom but still allow water to drain out? (why cant manufacturers design bikes for all seasons and sizes we cant all be 4' 6" and live in spain!)

i have the same problem with the bars beign to low. the stndard bars are 5" but i replace then with 5.5". it lets u stand up straighter giving u less back problems, but also transfers your body weight further over the back wheel which lets u grip better.(or so i find)

does anybody know whether 5.5" fat bars are available, otherwise ill be putting standards back on to my 05'.

as regards exhaust note , if your bike is an 04 its unlikeley the tail can needs repacking , unless you ride loads ! , its cheap to do and worth a try though (contradiction i know ) but use the loose fibre stuff not the sheet , i have an 03 pro and i have sealed up the hole in the bottom of the airbox totally i dont like the idea of helping water into the airbox ! for the higher rise bars try racespec or someone like that, mx dealers do more in that line especially if they are fat bars hope this helps (?) :wall:
