Just purchased a 2010 Beta Evo 300 4T, anythings i should look out for

or anythings to do to improve the bike or is it just swing my leg over

and ride it. and how hard of a job is it to remove the lighting kit ?

Stick a washer between where the chain tensioner bolts onto the swingarm, there pretty well known for a lot of having a lot of play there. Also if you feel as though you don't have enough power, There is an Arrow silencer available, which makes it a lot more zippy. There an absolute sweet bike to ride, Enjoy it!

Check the steering stem and linkage bearings for grease. Early Evo's were known to be light on the grease.
